Director / CEO

The mastermind behind The Social Secret, Maree has a knack for transforming social media overwhelm into effortless strategy. With a career as diverse as her skill set and backed by impressive credentials, she’s here to help business owners navigate the digital landscape with confidence.

Her passion? Helping you discover those lightbulb “aha!” moments and transforming them into “OMG, did we just do that?” wins. From micro to monumental, Maree lives for the thrill of watching brands come alive on social media.

And while she’s proud to have won allocades such as the 2019 Hobsons Bay Business Excellence Award, the Women’s Business Society Awards, and the 2023 Beam in Business Social Media Agency of the Year, it’s your success stories that really keep her buzzing.

When she’s not brainstorming brilliant strategies or geeking out over Instagram insights, Maree loves spending time with her family—husband John, her two girls, and their cavoodles Chino and Rennie.

You might also catch her rewatching an old Seinfeld episode (Elaine is her spirit animal). A true ’90s kid, she thrives on connecting with new faces, travelling, and indulging in pasta as a nod to her Italian roots. She’s also a die hard Collingwood supporter—just don’t hold it against her.

The ultimate wing woman and all-round excellent human, Jade comes to The Social Secret with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and good vibes. With qualifications in Media and a special interest in film and content, Jade is happiest in front or behind the camera making visual goodness.

Whether it’s creating content, directing or brainstorming ideas, Jade can be found in every corner of The Social Secret sprinkling her own brand of wisdom and creativity.

When the weekend rolls around? You might find Jade beachside in the warmer months with her little human sidekick, but given the choice she’d be kicking it by the pool, Aperol in hand, for the European summer. A lover of comedy, theatre and improv, we think Jade brings a special energy and insight to all our clients.
